What is e-Inclusion?

Information and communication technologies (ICT) play an important role in modern life. More and more people live and work in digitally networked environments. They are increasingly using computers, the internet or mobile communications in the various aspects of their lives – work, everyday life or leisure.

Goals for Switzerland

At present not all people are able to exploit the benefits of ICT. There are people who have no access to the new forms of media or are not able to learn how to use means of communication. This is where e-Inclusion plays a role. The goal of e-Inclusion is to eliminate obstacles and support and integrate people in the acquisition of skills.
